Provide Training for safe and effective management of Health Care Risk Waste.
All containers are issued with a unique barcode identifying (ID) number which is used to identify one container from another. This barcode can then be scanned at any location country-wide. For each scan, the barcode scanner captures the following data:
- Container unique ID
- Location of container
- Date and Time of scan
- Status of container (dropped off / picked up; full / empty) – optional
- Compliance (broken, overloaded, not sealed, wrong waste, etc) – optional
- Weight of container - optional
- Details of person scanning - optional
All containers are issued with a unique barcode identifying (ID) number which is used to identify one container from another. This barcode can then be scanned at any location country-wide. For each scan, the barcode scanner captures the following data:
immediately on the Tracking web site and for reporting purposes. The system also checks the new data and will alert if any containers are in error.
